She-Interiors (abbreviated from Sheindlin Interiors because nobody could say or spell it!) is a boutique NYC interior design firm specializing in transforming residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces.
She-Interiors follows the guiding principles of renowned designer Kelly Hoppen, incorporating structured design methodologies such as the grid system, precise alignments, and the use of architraves to create architectural cohesion. By adhering to industry-standard dimensions and proportions, the firm ensures that its designs achieve a seamless flow, where every detail is purposefully considered.
Recent projects in Lower Manhattan include TriBeCa (30 Park Place/Four Seasons Residences, 108 Leonard, 100 Barclay, 30 N. Moore), BPC (2 River Terrace, 212 Warren St), Gramercy (10 Madison Park, 21st Street), Financial District (145 Nassau, 77 Greenwich), SoHo (210 Lafayette), and Greenwich Village (11 5th Ave). The firm has also worked on large projects in Scarsdale (ground-up construction), Montauk (Driftwood), East Hampton, Brooklyn (Pierhouse), and Toronto (Forest Hill).
The firm is known for mixing high/low and designing custom items such as rugs, wallpaper, lighting, furniture, and built-in millwork.
Laurie, co-founder of She-Interiors, leads creative direction on every project. A professional interior designer, she is a past president of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for NYSID.
Laurie follows the Kelly Hoppen's design philosophy, which emphasizes purposeful sightlines, and harmonious balance. As an interior designer, she is passionate about uncovering wasted square footage and transforming it into functional, beautiful spaces. Laurie specializes in applying proven interior architecture concepts to create designs that seamlessly blend practicality with elegance.
Beyond her full-time work in residential interior design, Laurie is actively involved in her community. She serves on the Boards of BPCNA and PS89 PTA, co-chairs the annual PS89 Talent Show, co-chairs the JCP Tribeca Annual Gala, and co-founded the Downtown NYC Mahjong Team 212.
Laurie lives in New York City with her husband, Gregory, and their two daughters.
Sandra, co-founder of She-Interiors, oversees business operations and project management for the firm. Highly organized, efficient, and a natural problem-solver, she brings a can-do attitude to every project.
While living in Madrid, Spain, Sandra developed her design aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the city's rich architecture and interiors. She studied at IADE Design School and became a partner in a real estate development firm specializing in renovations and new builds.
Sandra currently resides in Brooklyn with her daughter.
Abdul is responsible for creating the majority of the 3D modeling across all projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Management and Technology (UMT) and a Master of Architecture from Punjab University (PU).
